“The Museum of Broadway, the upcoming interactive, multi-floor museum located at 145 West 45th Street, will open its doors for the first time November 15. The museum will highlight more than 500 individual productions from the 1700s to the present. Devoted to musicals, plays, and the people who make them, guests of the museum will travel through a visual history of Broadway, highlighting groundbreaking moments in a series of exhibits that showcase costumes, props, renderings, rare photos, videos, and more. The museum will also celebrate behind-the-scenes with The Making of a Broadway Show, which will honor the professionals–both onstage and off–who bring Broadway plays and musicals to life every night.
